So I’ve been on different family plans managed by different family members for the past 15 years or so. After discussion and delays all around (tedious process), I’m finally trying to get my own account. Trying is the word here, because my email address is linked to my sibling’s family account.
So on their end, he and his wife were able to remove me for the purpose of me transferring my phone to a new account. Problem is the new account hasn’t been created yet, and my email address and Verizon profile still show me as being listed under the same account number as my sibling’s family—even if they can’t see me on their end.
Tech support thought they had it figured out yesterday, but nope problem is still there. So my line is in a weird limbo where it’s still attached to their account and neither they nor I have privileges to manage that account and I can’t seem to create a new one or request to have the line switched because I don’t have authorization.
Weird infinite loop of errors leading to no one having access authorization over my line.
