Just out of curiosity why you’re getting rid of the free Disney, Hulu & espn perk? This is a real downer
Hello nopersonalinfo4hacks. No confusion intended with the email Disney sent out notifying of the price increase. This only applies to those that are subscribed to Disney services. If you have a Disney Bundle Perk available with MyPlan Unlimited plans or Disney Bundle is included with your plan (Get More or Play More), you will not be impacted. I hope that clears this up for you!

The email I got wasn't clear-will customers be paying just the amount of the price increase, or will Verizon no longer be covering the cost at all?
Same issue, email said to go to Verizon site for more info, found none anywhere on the site. Verizon should be providing the info since it is their plan, and they collect the money. Disney email was confusing, Verizon has nothing about it that is easy to find.
I found it confusing as well and had the same questions. I really only wanted the Hulu anyway.
Looks like we're all confused and thats why we're here.
Considering how many people are confused, Im going to bet Verizon is discontinuing Disney bundle but they dont want the outrage hence the poorly worded email. This is a billion dollar company, they dont send ambiguous emails like that for nothing

Thank you for sending this. It helps clear up my confusion.
We don't want you to have any concerns about your Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN_ services. The Disney Bundle is a great offer and we wouldn't want you to be without. If you have the $10.00 Disney Bundle perk, the price of the perk will not change. Likewise, if your Disney Bundle is included as part of your plan, there will also be no change and you'll keep that benefit without any changes. We hope you keep enjoying your Disney Bundle without any more worries!

The emails stated “If the Disney Bundle is an included feature of your Verizon plan (Play More or Get More Unlimited), there will be no changes to your bill until your next billing date after it is no longer included, on or after October 17th,whichever is later.” Reading the statement above my understanding is that Disney bundle will no longer be included in “ Play More” plan after October 17th. Am I misinterpreting the statement by Disney?

This is an excellent question. I can assure you that if your plan includes the Disney+ bundle, it is still included. There will be no extra charges. ~Peter
So, you are saying I don't need to be looking for another streaming service? I can continue the way that I am right now. I have the Home internet, and 4 lines. I will not be affected in any way.
If your plan includes the Disney+ Bundle, you will not see any changes in your monthly statement.

I just called the plan service line and they specifically said the Disney would be cancelled. Was this false?
I have the same issue. Can’t access any of the services now. I saw an email about an increase but didn’t know that affected me because I was bundled with Verizon.
My plan includes the Disney bundle but as of yesterday, we can no longer login in to Disney or Hulu. What gives Verizon? You are saying there is no change to our plan.
Oh, wow! Dealing with service issues can be frustrating, especially if you cannot access your Disney+ bundle services. Our goal is to help you in the best way possible.
Please tell us more, what exactly occurs when you attempt to access your services? When did the issue start? What recent changes have you made?

This is not actually true since Verizon is reducing the autopay discount for these customers by 1/2. For me, this specifically means a $20 increase a month with 4 phones on the Playmore plan. 16 year customer here and I would just as soon have Verizon just say they need to increase prices or discontinue the Playmore plan rather than do it in a sneaky way with the autopay discount. Just poor business imo.
I just tried to log in to Disney and it says I have to resubscribe. Where did my bundle deal go? I have an Unlimited Plus plan.
There seems to be no way to upgrade Hulu to no ads with the 10 bundle from verizon. Seems like pure incompetency here. Almost makes me want to switch away from Verizon. I think the same is true for Max.

I also received "The Email" in September and chatted with a Verizon Rep who assured me several times that I could ignore it. So, after all the assurances that I will not be charged for the Disney Bundle that I have as a perk thru Verizon, as of January 2025 I am being charged. It has been a nightmare to get this straightened out and I'm not sure if going forward whether or not I will still have problems. The agent told me that he fixed it. He also said that this perk may be discontinued. So, look out, all of you that thought you had the Disney Bundle for free indefinitely.
Good afternoon @rlynn52. We want to make sure we answer your questions. We also want to make sure your not being overcharged for the Disney Bundle. In order to see if you are eligible for the discount, we will have to access your account. I'm sending you a private note, so we can talk about the specifics of your account.
