How to turn off broadcast mode in Message+ app?

One of my long-standing group chats has suddenly been changed to "broadcast mode." I did not do this, and I do not know how to undo it. My understanding of broadcast mode is that any messages I send to this group chat are sent to each recipient individually as if I had messaged only them. I do not want this. How do I turn off broadcast mode?

Thank you for those details. We understand how important it is to be able to continue your group messaging as you typically experience it. Have you attempted to re-create the group? If so, any changes when doing so? Additionally, Verizon Message+ app sunsets in late 2024. As part of the sunset, Verizon encourages customers to migrate to Google's messaging app called "Google Messages".

With Messages+ pretty much dead at this point, the issues you're seeing are due to the app functionality already going away throughout the year.

I did attempt to re-create the group. Surprisingly, instead of making a new, separate group, it actually turned off broadcast mode!

I do no use Google apps.
