Smart family is on eastern time and im on central. I cant find any settings in the app about this. Its important for my childrens safety that i see the right time they arrive etc. can you please help
Hello, we understand how important it is to be able to use Smart family without any issues! Where does the app show a difference in time zone? Is it showing Eastern for everyone? Do all users have a current version of the app?

It shows in the notification. I set alerts for when they leave and arrive from school. Its always an hour late and the notification shows they left house eastern time. Now this will be a problem if one day ill be thinking they didnt go to school or came home early/late

I think the problem is the app has an issue and they need to fix it. I just talked to someone at Verizon for an hour and they can not fix it.
Based upon your ZIP code, it's definitely not an issue of you being close to the border of Eastern Time and Central Time where your phones could be connected to a tower in the Eastern Time zone. Did you use to live somewhere in the Eastern Time zone and still have a phone number corresponding to somewhere in that time zone? Because maybe the app is just going off your number's area code to determine which time zone to use. I could not find anything about the Smart Family app on Verizon's website which would allow you to adjust the time settings.
Yea no. Its a new number and a new phone. Never left TX.
