Hello, we just received word that you are discontinuing Message+ effective 11/7/24. We understand that with the advent of RCS, which bridges the divide that prevented texting between Apple and non-Apple devices, Message+ is now obsolete. My husband and I both have iPads with cellular and data plans and have used Message+ and its predecessor for more than a decade. We both have flip phones since you require a phone, but they mostly sit uncharged and unused because we use text for EVERYTHING. So what is the plan for allowing us to continue exchanging messages with non-Apple devices once Message+ disappears? Your website recommends Goole Messages (not available for Apple devices) and Apple Messages for everyone else, since RCS is built into OS 18. There's just one problem: RCS is not available for iPads. Meaning, effective in just a few weeks, our +$180 Verizon plan will not allow us to exchange texts with Android devices. Since the death of Message+ coincides with a rate increase, what will you do to keep us as customers now that you are withdrawing the primary service that was of interest to us?
