Day three of the most challenging customer service experience ever. I have been in three Verizon corporate stores (left one in tears because the rep was so mean), the Genius Bar, numerous chats/calls with customer services at both Verizon and Apple. FINALLY, after several painstaking hours on a support chat repeating myself, I learned that Verizon’s network does not and will not in the near future recognize international iPhone 16s. My attempts to add the IMEI to their network so I can continue as a valued customer have been shut down from every angle.
I intentionally purchased a phone from Canada to be able to use the dual SIM option.
iPhone 15s purchased abroad are in their system and available to use though. It seems like this was a recent development. No answer about when it would be added or how to add it.
