External IR receiver/extender for Video Media Server STB 4100

I am looking for a IR receiver extender so that I can put my 4100 STB in a cabinet and put the IR extender by the TV so I can use the remote controller.

Does Verizon have one available?

or

Can an aftermarket one be purchased on amazon? ebay? etc...

I believe there is a 1/8" jack near the power cord on the back of the VMS 4100 that you can plug in an IR repeater. Should be able to find one cheap on Amazon or other outlets.
