Not receiving calls / texts on wifi

The problem is sometimes I will not receive phone calls or text messages while I am at home on the Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi calling is on.
I would just turn it off, but the Verizon cell signal is very weak in my home but this issue is not constant. It is very sporadic so maybe 30 minutes of the day will be like this, but I also have no idea when it’s happening

If anybody has a way to fix this or similar experience, please tell me

Hey there, Deej55, we certainly want to help ensure that you receive your calls! Is this happening only when connected to your home WiFi? Were you consistently receiving calls over WiFi previously? What model phone are you currently using?

We are having the same issue on our home WiFi. We called Verizon support for troubleshooting and the representative helped us with resetting our phones and reconnecting to our WiFi but the issue persists. That was a week ago. Now tonight it happened again, specifically when I’m waiting for a code from a provider who texts for two-factor authentication. After several minutes of waiting to receive the text, as soon as I disconnect from my home WiFi the texts are delivered. This is more troubling because I work from home and many of the apps I use for my job require two-factor authentication to access them. So this is impacting my ability to run my business I don’t look forward to two or more hours on the phone with Verizon. It appears that this is a widespread issue that is not limited to one household, region or type of phone. I would appreciate an explanation of the cause of this issue and plan for resolving it.

Thanks for letting us know about the wifi. I also need my connection for telecommuting. Let's reveiw the account to see what the issue is. I also sent some links to improve the wifi connection. If this is FIOS internet. there is another team I can bring in to assist.-Ross
