Trade in period for holiday gifts

Verizon is running a deal where you get $1000 trade in on an Iphone 16pro, which I would like to do. However, they have a 30-day window to return the trade in phone and I want this to be a Christmas present. If I bought it today, I would have to return the trade in by Christmas day, which isn't practical. Is Verizon making any holiday adjustments on this policy?

I am having a problem with my trade in phones. I was told by an agent that I had until Jan 29th 2025 because it was a holiday gift, and now I sent in my phones and am not getting the credit for them!! I feel completely duped and I was lied to!!
