I got talked into switching to Verizon by a door-to-door rep who assured me I'd be eligible for the Verizon Forward discount. He wasn't wrong about that. I applied and got confirmation that I'm eligible, but I need to follow online prompts to apply the discount to my account. Every time I click on the link provided I get the spinning wheel of grey infinity. The page goes nowhere even after walking away for almost an hour. Nothing. I've spoken to several reps on the phone, all of whom acknowledged the issue and said there is nothing they could do. The last rep told me it was probably due to traffic and to try again at an odd hour. Fine. I literally tried at midnight and again at 2am and got the same dead end so traffic isn't likely the problem. I'm beginning to think this is a bait-&- switch and I'm getting ready to file a complaint with the FCC if they can't find a solution asap.
