So I got an email from Verizon saying they would offer me $1,000 to trade in my old device. I got online. Told him what kind of phone. I had, a pixel 6, and they told me it was worth $1,000 if it was in decent condition which it was. Was everything functioned ,the battery hold to several hours, if not all day, the screen is pristine, and there's no damage to the case. They continue to tell me it was worth $1,000 trade-in so I proceeded. Of course I had to upgrade my plan to something more expensive but all in all it was a worthwhile deal I wanted. The pixel 9 fold which is an $1,800 phone. Proved everything went and picked it up. Traded in the old phone and then several hours later I get an email that they have downgraded their offer from $1,000 to $46. To say I am furious is an understatement. This is a horrible case of misrepresentation. I was reading online that if you contact the FCC you can probably get a resolution. I very much may look into that. Tomorrow I'm going to go to the store and yell at the general manager. I am so furious with Verizon.
