How do you save pictures taken with phone to SD card?

I think pics I take are being saved on phone and only ones that are on card are ones I downloaded off pc  to card. If phone crashes I will lose pics saved on phone? am I correct in saying that and if so how do i get all pics and vids to be on card and not phone.

I would think that photos default to your sdcard.  You should see an app called My Files.  Open that and navigate to your sd card, then DCIM-Camera and see if they show up there.
