ellipsis locked out

I was given an ellipsis tablet and did a reset.

Now I'm not able to get passed the {enter an email account and password}. It keeps saying to log in with owner account.

The tablet is mine, it was given to me from a friend who buys abandoned storage units so I cannot find the owner.

There is no sim card or hd card in it and it has been factory reset multiple times but it still wants the previous owners info for log in. How can I fix this?

Hi, these tablets aren't supported any longer and are a few years old. The email account question is probably an activation screen - pretty much any wireless device now requires you to pay for a line of service with a carrier; you can't use it as a WiFi device only. You can't get past the activation screen if the device was factory reset.
