Got a new phone and new line two days ago. I was initially trying to port in my old number, but it wasn’t working so I opted to get a new number instead. Now everything works except I can not receive verification and 2FA texts. I’ve tried several different support people and nobody seems to understand what I’m talking about. I’ve restarted my phone a hundred times, toggled sms on and off, airplane mode, reset carrier settings, and even got a new eSIM. I’m sure it’s an issue on Verizon’s end but nobody seems to know what short code even means. Help
