Verizon customer of 20 years
I moved from West Denver to Parker, Colorado about 15 miles south of downtown in 2022. Since then, cell phone reception has been terrible. Often won't receive a handful of calls each day that goes straight to voicemail. My wife may have to text me to let me know she's been trying to call me because the calls won't go through if she's at the store and I'm at home.
It is so bad that the technician when installing our Internet had to drive down the road away just to get reception to call dispatch. Working from home is basically not an option unless you have a Microsoft Teams type phone number Wi-Fi calling might work, but my phone still won't ring while I hear my computer ringing in the other room if I'm lucky.
How can reception be so poor in such a populated area? I have seen other threads referencing this area just south of downtown Denver, but this is now preventing me from working from home.
No obstructions, no low point entering inside and outside are poor outside being better late in the evening may be better than during the day, but only slightly
Please, please help.
