I was not aware Wi-Fi network passwords kept on iCloud are not secured in an online cloud, but are stored on iPhone. Verizon techs, apparently, are also unaware of this. So an iCloud backup before resetting network, as I was instructed to do in an effort to improve inconsistent Verizon network connection, does nothing to keep or restore them. Network resetting returns it to factory settings and saved network connection passwords are removed with recovery impossible.
After a couple of hours and 3 different techs jumping in to offer assistance, the last tech requested patience for a little longer…..then dropped from the support chat about 30-45 minutes later.
After all that, and signal bars still go no higher than 2.
