Aloha, does anyone have the IR power on / off hex codes for this cable box? I'm programming a URC MX-990 for a friend remotely from 5,000 miles away (got love technology!), and I need the discrete hex codes for power on / off. I can't find much info regarding this anywhere. And unfortunetly, Remote Central's website, which probably has info on this, has been down for weeks now.
Also, for some reason, I can't learn the power button into the MX-990. I can learn any other buttons on the Fios remote to the MX-990 except for the power button??? This really has me baffled!
Bottom line, I have his remote working perfectly, except that I cannot program the power button for this Fios box. The URC pre-loaded codes work every function on the cable box except for power. ???
I don't have any experience with Fios as it's not available here on the Big Island. And being 5,000 miles away doesn't help either. If anyone can shed some light on my issue, I'd greatly appreciate it! And if you do help, first 2 Mai Tais are on me if you visit the Big Island.
