MOTO Z4 Verizon, android update

As my Moto Z play died, and i wanted to continue using my moto mods I purchased new Moto Z4 Veriizon that came with Android 9.

Is it possible to receive the OTA upgrade without actually having Verizon sim card in the phone?

if not, what other options do i have?

I managed to update the phone using PC, so admin can delete this topic

Or, you could mark is ANSWERED and an admin can LOCK it so nobody can reply.
