I visited a Verizon store locally and added my husband to my account with a new line. We paid the service activation fee and was given a receipt. We were told what are new bill would be after adding him and left the store. My next bill they added the “activation fee” (which was already paid in store” and added another “ one time activation fee” that we were unaware of. I called Verizon and was told there was nothing they could do, and also called the local store and was told there was nothing they could do. Be very careful they add on fees and look over your bill carefully. They are very deceptive. Will be switching over to another carrier after this. I have been a longtime Verizon member and they are willing to lose a customer over not fixing a billing discrepancy.
