Can't upgrade 9650 to os6

Trying to upgrade 9650 to os6, but don't have that option on BB Desktop Software. This is for a Mac if it matters.

Well, according to the upgrade table on WP: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BlackBerry_OS

It should be able to upgrade to OS6. Couldn't tell you why it isn't though.

A Blackberry phone on one carrier isn't going to necessarily be able to support an upgrade like the same model phone on a different carrier.

I understand, but this is a Verizon phone and I believe they market 9650s w/ OS6 installed - could be wrong.
