Recently we had a credit card issue and needed to update payment details to a different card for Verizon auto pay and +Play subscriptions. I updated two out of three and missed one +Play subscription as I thought they were linked and updating one +Play payment would be the same for all. When my Netflix and Paramount Plus with Showtime bundle charge was attempted on the old card which had to be closed, I got an email the payment failed and basically both Netflix and Paramount Plus cancelled immediately. I logged in to fix the card but that is impossible since the offer is no longer available. I find this to be an administrative issue and have tried unsuccessfully to fix this with Verizon support who escalated it and simply says the offer is expired. This has been going on 3 weeks and I have spent hours on the phone and multiple text messages asking me to keep trying to update the card with always the same result , offer expired. I am in disbelief that after being with a company for over 20 years, there is so little help for what is clearly a clerical issue. I had an updated card on two other auto pay within verizon. I spent 45 min today with another rep on the phone after trying to check on the status of my ticket that was closed because it was "resolved" and it wasn't. Noted I logged in to fix the issue within minutes of getting the payment failed email.
Although I really appreciate the phone service from Verizon I am really wondering if my loyalty is misplaced? Can this be fixed or should I give up and shop around?
