I have had very poor service in my house on the Oregon coast for years. Verizon sent me an extender to connect to my WIFI network and it helped a lot. Recently, I switched from cable to Spectrum Fibre as an ISP. The service is far superior to cable, but it caused the extender to stop working.
I have spent over 3 hours n the phone with tech support this week trying to get the old extender and the new extender to work. I even had a three way with Verizon and Spectrum that produced nothing positive. After rebooting the router and extender numerous times, changing router ports, and doing everything possible I called support again. I have been on hold for 40 minutes with no end in sight.
How do they get away with selling a service that isn't consistent and then providing useless tech support?
