I placed an order on the phone with help of Verizon Sales associate. She told me that since I am placing this order on the phone, she is going to apply $200 credit (instead of $200 gift card) on my account which will be reflected on my account as soon as I port my line from different provider.
I was not able to see any credit after porting my line, so I called Verizon helpline and I was told I will get $200 gift card but I have to go to https://vzw.com/rebate and enter promo code CARTOFFER2025 and order date and follow steps from there. I did that but at the last step it shows an error "We can't process your request".
I called in helpline again and I was told to wait for one billing cycle (30 days at least) and then I will get an automated link to complete steps.
At this stage, I do not have trust in what Verizon support is saying because they do not have a clue on how this promotion works. This utterly frustrating and look like a shady practice. Can someone please help me on this?
