Cancel series recording

I am trying to cancel future recordings of some series. I have tried the following:

Home> My DVR > Scheduled> Select program I want to cancel> Cancel> Yes

as well as:

Home> My DVR > Scheduled> Select program I want to cancel> Options > Cancel Recording >Yes

as well as:

Home> My DVR > Scheduled> Select program I want to cancel> Options > Recording Settings >Cancel Recordings > Confirm

In all cases, the specific episode gets cancelled, but not future episodes.

I have also tried to repeat this for all future episodes listed under "Scheduled", and it still keeps recording them.

I have tried to find the answer online, and failed.

How can I do this very simple action?

I figured this out. You cannot do it from MyDVR, but you can do it from the Guide. Navigate to any instance of the series you had set to record and hit cancel it from there
