Just want to know, what does Earning Badges mean??
Hi Ms Yvonne,
Badges are awarded (earned) as recognition of various milestones or accomplishments on the Verizon Community. As an example, Anniversary badges celebrate lengths of time since a member registered here. Badges are also awarded based upon the number of visits to the community, how many topics a member started, how many replies a member posted and for many other aspects of community participation.I hope that helps to explain our community badging program.
Thank you for responding my question, I appreciate it. Now, on another note, I recognize & understand the earning of Badges, that's all good. My issue is, it sounds good that a customer is earning Badges for milestones or accomplishments. I don't mind that I have earned these so call Badges. My attitude is, Big Deal, I don't care about receiving Badges, I already know what a great customer I am. Earning Badges for my milestones & recognition , would be more appreciated & have more meaning if, Earning Badges helps you to receive some type of Rewards or Points.
Meaning, who cares about Badges if, there's No benefit for earning them..lol..!!
Everyone's different, but for me the forum badges are a fun way to acknowledge members who participate regularly. Unless Verizon shut down the Verizon Access program, that's where the rewards program is?
