I signed up with Verizon mobile this past January. I signed up with their highest plan and traded in my iPhone 14 to get the new iPhone 16. I was told that between the promo for adding a new line and trading in my phone that the cost of the iPhone 6 would be covered. I now have a $210 charge on my bill, labeled as a trade in adjustment.I have tried the Verizon chat to get this resolved. They said that it was weird, should not be on there and that they would escalate the situation. I have not heard back. I then went to the store at which I signed up and they told me to call. I called and they told me that the store did not submit a proper form and that it is likely too late to submit the form so now I am stuck with a $210 charge. I could have easily gotten around $200 selling it used. I will not be paying that charge. It is sad that such a large company has to resort to such tactics. No wonder they offer $10 for autopay so you don’t notice the charges they add to your bill. Do better Verizon.
