I'm trying to contact someone in customer retention or tech support. I have been a Verizon Fios Customer for over 11 years, largely because they support my Tivo's cable card ( I've had the Tivo for around 15 years with periodic maintenance ) . I will soon have to move to a new apartment in the same general area in NYC. When I contacted Verizon's general number, I was told that they would not support my working cablecard at a new location, even if it was just a move within the same building. I have no problem relocating my current ONT & router ( which are working fine) to a new location which should be able to still support the cable card.
who can help me resolve this ? If I'm losing theTivo because of the move, it may be time to reconsider other internet/TV providers.
