Okay call me an idiot. this is my first phone and i was going through my settings.i had previously changed my security password and my lock password. I had it set so that every time i turned the phone on i would have to unlock the phone with my 4 didget code. now so im going through my setting looking at what everything does. so i end up going to menu-tools and settings-phone settings-andd finnally NAM select. i accedentaly pressed NAM #2. it turned off my cell phone. next thing i know i turn it on and it gives me the same message in two languages to unlock phone pess "the call button" now thats no trouble what the trouble is is that it no longer lets me unlock the phone. as in neither my code or the origional code to unlock the phone work. so all i can do is dial " go to the unlock which doesnt work" and use my emergany contact. how do i reset the thing to what it was???ive tried every combo i can think of and have started going through the list off possible #s starting at 1111 till 0000 so far im at 1271 and i would prefer not to have to continue this method as only 170 diffrent # combos has me aggrivated already.
