The whole experience is horrible. Unbelievably frustrated.
Last years (Y2024) I saw a rebate/Black Friday sales $300 for line switched, so I switched 2 lines ($300x2) and added 2 new lines to Verizon. Before I placed the on-line order, I chatted with a Verizon agent to double check if I'm eligible for the rebate. He checked my info said everything look good and eligible for $300x2 rebate. But right before I was about to bite the chat and place on-line order (I actually already have all items in the shopping cart), the agenda said he can help me place the PO and I will still get the rebate. So I let him help place the order.
Fast forward, I never received rebate code by email as promised. So I called Verizon and asked for the rebate code. 1st code I got was a wrong one! and I need to call again and finally got the right code to summit the rebate. After incredible long wait time, rebate came back said invalid because it is only for on-line order. But it is the Verizon Agent told me that he will place the order for me and I will still get the rebate.
I called version customer service multiple times. Two agents said she/ he will help me summit tickets to resolve the issues and send me text message for the ticket number, but in fact I never got message, and no ticket got summited.
I called third time, and finally I got an agent who willing to help me summit a ticket. But based on my experience, I pretty sure the ticket will go nowhere, no-one will really care.
I do want to said the last agent is really helpful and kind, but expect him all other agents, my experience with Verizon is terrible.
If you plan to switch to Verizon because of the rebate, think twice. Now I stuck with Version for 3 years.
