Rarely access 5GUW for weeks

It has been almost a month now. My phone just gets stuck in 5G or LTE yet I have the premium 5G plan and used to have 5GUW 80% of the time. This has provided much slower service.

I have spoken with tech support over 10 times and no one either cares or seems to know what’s going on and just blame the type of service in my area. No this is a NETWORK ISSUE. Again I’ll repeat I used to have 5GUW EVERYWHERE in Tampa and now it just ends up getting stuck in 5G which is SO slow idk how legally it can be called 5G. The only reason I haven’t switched is being I use Verizon visa rewards dollars to pay my bill.

is this how the network is going to be now or are there updates happening. I’ve heard from others it’s the same experience for them. Why am I paying for the top premium plan when getting mediocre service.

I can't give you a definitive answer either, but could it be there have been a lot of events going on in your area, bringing in a lot of visitors, or maybe it's exam season for college students and all the extra traffic has been bogging down the network? If you used to get 5G UW before and the problem only just began within a month, doesn't sound like an account provisioning, SIM, or device issue. But you can always check your phone to make sure everything's up to date.

It has now been two months of inconsistent 5G service. Some days I have 5GUW and other days it fluctuates all the time and is so slow. When I go into the website it says “5G data may be limited until the issue is resolved”. It’s been saying this for two months now. Every other day there is a network issue. What is going on?! I’m paying for a premium 5G plan and I rarely get to use it. What’s the point.
