After being a loyal AT&T customer for almost 20 years, I switched to Verizon on October 13, 2024 and ported over 4 lines. The main factor behind my decision was taking advantage of a promotion Verizon was running at the time, $300 for each new line (if done online) or $200 for each new line (if done over the phone). I went the latter route and did everything with a Verizon sales agent over the phone to ensure everything was done right. The Verizon sales agent confirmed the promotion and my $800 gift card reward (total) during both my consultation and port process.
Fast forward months later, and I have yet to receive anything. I've called multiple times, been told it's being escalated to managers, received numerous ticket numbers, and now the Verizon sales agent is ignoring my texts and requests for help (they provided a direct contact number to help me during the port process).
My Verizon account is in good standing, and I even switched from Spectrum to Verizon Fios for home and internet. Aside from this gift card issue, the service has been great, and I don't have any other problems or complaints. However, I'm seriously considering switching all my services from Verizon to other carriers on principle...please help!
