I just got off a chat with customer support. Bottom line is that I have little to no cell coverage at my house. It's always been spotty, but it's getting worse. Their solution was for me to upgrade my service to a more expensive plan so I can get higher priority on the tower. Is this a thing? I'm paying for service I'm not getting and the solution is to pay more so I can jump the line in front of other customers? My friends with T-Mobile and AT&T have more bars sitting side-by-side on my kitchen table than I do. Verizon finally offered to sell me a signal booster, but, again, not something I should have to pay for.
I have 3 iPhone 11s, which are 4G only. I thought there'd be less traffic on the network with more customers upgrading to 5G. Has Verizon stopped supporting 4G or are they loading more onto the network to force you to upgrade? Did I upgrade into a plan that's 5G only?
