5g Ultrawide Band not turned on my iphone 16?

I realized the other day that my mom's phone (iphone plus) that she has 5UW on her phone instead of 5G. We are on the same plan and both pay for the ultrawide band. How come my phone doesnt hav the 5UW? I have a iphone 16 pro max? How do i turn it on?

Have you run a speed test on your phone while in a known 5G UW area to see if you're getting good data speeds? Maybe it's just that your phone won't display the UW symbol for some reason, but it's running in the UW spectrum anyway.
