When I try to block a number under "Block calls and messages" I get the error "We are unable to block (number) on this device(s): (my phone number)". But I get the same error with my phone number no matter what phone number on my account I'm trying to block it on. I get the error in the MyVerizon App and on the website.
I just spent an hour texting (though I said I wanted communication via email) with support for them to just continuously tell me how to block the number doing all the steps I was doing even though I kept telling them I was getting the error. I've blocked numbers before and I know you're only allowed 5 but to my knowledge I have 0 blocked but the app and website don't show me any blocked numbers or even the history of blocked numbers like the support video claims. I told support all this and said it seemed like an IT backend issue for them to say they understood and send me the instructions on how to block the number again all the same steps they sent before that I had been doing before I contacted them.
So am I crazy that I can't block the number I want? I've blocked it before for the 90 days without issue.
