iPhone 16 “On Us” Promo Not Working at Checkout

I got an offer from Verizon that says:

“Upgrade and get iPhone 16 on us — Save $830 on the iPhone 16 Series on Any Plan.”

Sounds great—but when I go to upgrade, the discount isn’t applying at checkout. I’ve tried it on both the app and the website while logged into my account (the one that got the offer), and still nothing.

Has anyone else run into this? Is there a catch I’m missing, Or is it just a system glitch?

Resolution Update: By partnering with support, the issue with the iPhone promotion was resolved. If others encounter similar problems with the iPhone promotion some of the common factors can include, plan change required, new line requirement, or even the model of the iphone 16 you are selecting at checkout.

I'm not currently seeing this promotion on the main website...there is an iPhone 16 offer available, but it's only if you add a new line, so would not be an upgrade on an existing line.

There was a phone upgrade offer some time ago, but the fine print said the old phone had to be an Apple, Samsung, or Google. Could've also been something else too; I wouldn't be surprised if it is up to X dollars off for the upgrade, because you have to trade in the old phone for the new one and not all trade-ins are equally valued.
