I have had a growing list of problems with Verizon. I have checked both my at home providers for wifi (which has changed from Centurytel/Brightspeed to Spectrum), called Verizon customer support and have reached out to Apple multiple times. We are a family of Apple users with different devices, living in different locations across the country, all have Verison and all have problems. When dialing out, we often receive the "Welcome to Verizon. The number you are dialing cannot be connected".... multiple attempts and still the same message. We also have issues with Wifi calling. We struggle with consistency (whether there's cellular service or not in the area). We started using Airplane Mode on wifi calling as found on this forum. It does help to make it more consistent without all of the connectivity issues. We have changed modems/routers, service, etc., but this is the most consistent fix, but not 100%. In addition, we have calls coming in, both wifi calling and while outside the home on cellular, that never show up as a missed call and/or do not ring, even though our phones are not silenced and other calls have successfully come through under the same conditions. We have updated our software, cleared the cache on our phones and apps (and offloaded some apps that were using the most space), changed equipment, reached out to all services utilized, turned phones off and on, and are still struggling. What seems to be the issue as seems to be happening with more and more frequency. As one of our family members is in the medical field and needs to receive calls for trauma surgery and another has medical issues and could be a life/death situation, I am deeply concerned at the lack of answers. if you have a fix, please let me know.
