Here we go again: for three weeks now I've been trying to re-install my @verizon.net email on my iphone mail app. Done all that's necessary: two step verification, third party app password generated, imap option enabled. When submitted, after waiting thru verification, I get "wrong password or username". And that's it. No next step - access to see/verify server port settings.
Can anybody give me proper current info, guide me thru the process?
The verizon.net email service was retired in December 2017. If you didn't migrate your email account to AOL or Yahoo, anything which was in a verizon.net email account was deleted.
If you did migrate your Verizon email to one of the other providers:
1) For AOL: Go to mail.aol.com and enter your full Verizon email address ("username at verizon dot net") to login
2) For Yahoo: Go to verizon.yahoo.com and enter your full Verizon email address ("username at verizon dot net") to login
