I keep getting a text from 899-000 that says: "Verizon Msg: Your call cannot be completed as dialed. The phone number you are attempting to call has been blocked by the account owner."
The text always comes through when my phone is not in use. I haven't had any issues making or receiving calls, and I haven't tried to contact any new or unusual phone numbers.
The text has increased in frequency — I received it twice today, once yesterday, and once earlier this month — so I contacted chat support. They told me to reset my phone's network settings.
It's too soon to tell whether this is a true fix for the issue, but I wanted to share this here in case others are searching for more information or have any insight. I'll update this thread if the issue persists.
