Mifi 6620L speeds

My Verizon hotspot is extremely slow, and I usually have 4 bars of service. On a good day I can get close to 20mbps but most of the time it stays around 5mbps which in today's world can't do a whole lot. I have a 100 gbs as my data plan and never get close to my cap, I just want to know how to make it faster as I know it is capable of a lot more.

I suspect it's a combination of the following:

older device
4G LTE only, no 5G
increased traffic on the network
deprioritization to cell phones and/or postpaid customers
