Here is some advice...DO NOT purchase an iPhone through Verizon. Get it through Apple.
In early July I received an offer from Verizon that I would receive $600 to trade in my iPhone 12 for an IPhone 16 Pro Max. So I visited a corporate store and consummated the deal. A few days later my new phone arrived, I transferred all my information from my 12 and returned it to the store.
The next day I received a notice from Apple that the battery could not be verified. I went back to the store and was told it was not there problem that I had to deal with Apple. Apple said they could replace the battery, but with a 2-5 hour wait but that since it was a new phone I should demand a new one from Verizon.
I tried another corporate store and was told that if I wanted another one I they would order one, but I would have to leave my phone and wait until the new came in.
I contacted Verizon and after long discussion I was told they would send me a new one. The order was placed and I received confirmation that it would arrive today but it didn't. I spent over three hours trying to find out what was going on, but was eventually told they could not replace it. They said they would refund my original purchases and I would have to go by another one.
Apple told me they would have given me the $600 trade in.
BOTTOM LINE...If you are going to buy a phone DO NOT, DO NOT buy it from Verizon. But it directly from Apple or Google, or whatever brand.
