I just upgraded to a CR1000A router and added Verizon's Network Extender which is connected via ethernet cable. System works ok but signal is weak in a rather distant bedroom. I can't run an ethernet cable to that area so would wifi extender that just boosts the wifi signal (not ethernet connected) work such as sold by Amazon (https://www.amazon.com/s?k=wifi+extender+signal+booster&crid=3SPWLXPZ35CUY&sprefix=wifi+ext%2Caps%2C96&ref=nb_sb_ss_p13n-pd-dpltr-ranker_2_8)
