Hello.
I am currently under my Mothers plan, but I help her with the bill. Recently I traded in my iPhone 11 for an iPhone 16. The estimated trade in value was the typical 830. I activated the phone that day, (2 weeks ago) and my mom surrendered the phone today. When speaking with one of the sales reps there, he said that the value was dropped to 35. Myself, working for a phone service in the past, raised some flags bc the phone had no cracks, no noticeable scratches, and speakers and mic worked just fine and the phone was already marked down for the value it would have for damages. The sales associate said to call the center and find out why it was only 35 instead of the full 830. Originally they said the credit was still priced at the full 830. Though, when I called, they said that it ARRIVED AT THE WAREHOUSE BROKEN!!! Pardon me, but we HAVENT TURNED IN THE PHONE YET!! I told him that it was “damaged in shipping” but later I realized that THE PHONE WASNT TURNED IN YET. They were attempting to charge the near full price of the iPhone 11, BUT THE PHONE WAS PAID OFF THERE WAS NOTHING LEFT TO PAY ON IT. They sent my mom an email saying that the 830 was the active credit, but the app did not change. I was advised to give it 24 hours. I will wait, but it it hasn’t changed, there will be a phone call.
