I purchased home internet and selected a JBL portable speaker as my gift. For delivery there was an option to pickup the speaker at my local Verizon store - that is what I selected.
I received a confirmation email stating that it would be at the store on Thursday. I received a notification email on Wednesday stating that my order was ready for pickup and the store.
Got there at lunch the following day. The store personnel they said that they never allow store pickups, they did not have my order, they could not find my order and they were totally confused.
Less than 24 hours after receiving the "ready for pickup" email I received an email stating my order was cancelled because I did not pick it up.
I can't see how I can get the speaker re-ordered. Spent an hour on the phone & the promised to make the offer available again but did not.
Tried chat but it was not a good experience at all. Four hours of being bounced around one rep or another.
Super frustrated right now and need some help.
