I’m running into the same issue I see a lot of people here talking about with missing trade-in credits, and I’m honestly at my wits’ end.
Back in October 2024, I traded in my iPhone 13 Pro Max and my wife’s iPhone 13 Pro when we both upgraded to iPhone 16 Pros. I followed everything Verizon told me to do — used the QR codes they sent, dropped the phones off at UPS, tracked them, and even confirmed they were delivered to Verizon’s warehouse that same month.
Since November, I’ve been calling customer service over and over. At first they just kept telling me to wait for the credits to show up. Then starting in January, different reps started saying the devices were received and the issue was “resolved.” But the only thing that actually happens is they manually fix my bill for the month I call. As soon as the next bill comes around, the credits are gone again and I have to call all over again. It’s been months of this cycle now.
I’ve been with Verizon for more than six years and have done trade-ins before without a single problem. I really don’t understand why this one is so hard to fix. From what I’m seeing here in the community, I’m clearly not the only one this is happening to, which makes me wonder if it’s a bigger problem with how these trade-ins are being processed.
At this point I just need Verizon to apply the credits for both phones and make sure they actually stick every month going forward. Has anyone here ever had this finally get resolved permanently? And if any Verizon rep is reading this, can you please step in — this has gone on way too long.
