My father passed away 8/6/25 and I began the transfer of ownership on 8/8/25 as I wanted to keep the phone number. It caused problems right away. Once the initial problem was solved, I started getting issues with the Fios on demand telling me that the account was not authorized to purchase or rent movies. called again and was told that the change was not complete. I got a call back on 9/19/25 telling me that the account was fully in my name, but I am still getting Fios code 26-4037 as I suspect that my father's account is confusing the issue as the phone number is under two names with the same debit card number, email, and address, but two different account numbers. my account number is different than my father's and I think that the fact that I was not told that his account is being closed is the problem. I need someone to speak to as this has been going on for two weeks now. I am not really sure that your customer service representatives know how to do this process correctly. Can someone please help
