So after almost 16 and a 1/2 years with Verizon, I have a plan that I am grandfather in for my plan is very cheap and I like it how it is I've been due for an upgrade for over 11 months SoThe only promotion right now for myplan and Phone would be the Google Pixel 10 I don't want a Google Pixel 10 I want to stick to a Samsung Galaxy I have a Galaxy A42 . I called and was told that I would have to change my plan which I don't want to do. I'm happier with my cheaper plan that I've been grandfather in so after a 35 to 40 minute conversation. I asked what can you do She told me. I would have to change my plan. And I said I don't want to change my plan. I've been loyal here for 16 and a 1/2 years. What will you do for me as a loyal customer? So she told me what I can do is you can keep your Plan the way it is and We'll give you The Galaxy A54 for $ 3 more a month on your bill I said ok let me get back to you on Thursday I will do it Thursday This is all.
on recorded line with Verizon So I call back today this morning. There's no notations at all of what she said even though it's a recorded line. The lady I talked to said there's nothing she could do. But you could talk to a supervisor very nice lady. So a supervisor called ma'am. He goes well, there's nothing we can do. And basically explained the breakdown of why he can't give me the phone at the price that I was told I can get Basically explain to me why my bill would be $85. Even though she said it would be $68. So that's how they treat you after being with them. For almost 17 years they don't really care. It's all on a recorded line. They don't honor what the lady said. The supervisor didn't really care So obviously Verizon, wireless doesn't care if they're a 17 year customer 23 year customer service. So basically I was just quoted yesterday.from t mobile if I switch I can get unlimited data call text and a new Galaxy S25 for $ 60 a month if Verizon will honor the $68 a month I'll stay My Grandma just recently within the last 3 weeks Left Verizon after 22 and a 1/2 years. And switch to a different company for phone internet and cable for $75 a month. So Verizon is losing its customers. I can be in the cities and get bad cell service. So think twice, if you're thinking Verizon, I'm about to leave if I were to get a response that they would honor the $68. I'll stay.
