Apple one

So my music is working and so is the Apple TV but the arcade isn’t working. Apple said it’s a version problem but it says it activated. After Apple told me I needed to pay for an active arcade Subscription but Verizon says I don’t need one and why should I have to pay twice for in order to have it work so frustrating

I found a solution. Not sure if it’s the best one but it works. I went to the Verizon store to turn in my trade in. I asked them about the issue and he said the only thing he could do is cancel apple one and put it back but it wouldn’t work until the end of the billing cycle. I said that’s fine I don’t really have any other options. He did it and it worked instantly! I guess technically it’s a Verizon issue since apple wasn’t needed to fix it.

Did you have some of the Apple services directly through Apple, and then bought the Apple One through Verizon, or were you making changes to your Apple One subscription somehow when this problem happened?

I am having the same issue! extremely frustrating! My prior apple arcade subscription was with verizon but they recently removed it from my grandfathered old plan and now I have apple one --- my apple music, apple TV, and the icloud storage is working but not the arcade.

From what I could find on the website, Apple Arcade is kind of weird. If you were previously on a legacy plan which had Apple Arcade included in the base service plan, the issue is probably that there's a "phantom" Apple Arcade subscription tied to your now-gone service plan and that's why your current perk doesn't work, because Apple is still trying to log you in via the old plan subscription. I'd try the "cancel through Apple" process to cancel Apple Arcade to see if that helps.

So I called Apple, they said that Verizon cancelled my Apple Arcade and a ticket with Verizon open on 9-13 was submitted to get this corrected but has yet to be resolved.

I contacted Apple as well and this is exactly what they told me. This is getting old.

That’s super frustrating, especially when both sides are saying different things. Hopefully reactivating through Verizon or having them talk to Apple can clear it up.
