Recently there was a tsunami watch on the West Coast. I live in Oceanside which is only 70 miles from Portland, Oregon, and am dismayed that the cell signal strength here is between zero and pathetic. Emergency Services uses text messaging to notify tourists and residents of tsunami hazards and other emergency notifications such as fire, flooding, or dangerous winds, all of which can occur in this area. We desparately need better cell coverage in Oceanside, Oregon, and we need it now. Please, Verizon, find a way to get us better cell coverage and save some lives.
