I've been a customer over 10yrs, my bill gets paid on time it's never ever late. I have paid off several devices with verizon and gave never had a problem until now! A year ago I upgraded from the galaxys9+ to the Google pixel 7. Within having the new upgrade just under 3weeks it just completely randomly shutdown just dead and wouldn't do nothing. I filed a claim it was determined as a manufacture malfunction they sent me a new same device and I sent my old device back in. About a month into having the new replacement I began to notice it was running hot randomly, I contacted Verizon and with their help went through every step for maintaining and prevention of it running hot. Nothing was working it was still running hot. After reaching out to verizon several times and getting no where I decided to reachout to google and that was a disaster in itself! The phone got worse as time went by and me getting no resolution to the point of not even notifications would come up and it would get so hot I couldnt even hold it, a few times I was able to smell the device was so hot like a wire smell. Verizon acted concerned but still gave me no resolution! My phone finally stopped working due to I noticed my screen pushed up from the back frame the battery has swollen an no longer will work.that was almost three months ago! I'm paying for a phone and service I'm not able to use! I get so frustrated with reaching out that I just stop an have to wait a few days to reach out again because I get no where but it needs to he resolved.
