My husband and I switched to Verizon last November and were offered two $750 Verizon gift cards as a promo they were running. I followed all the rebate steps they required to get the giftcards, and after 5+ phone calls and text conversations received 1 giftcard in JUNE. I was lied to multiple times by their customer service agents promising I’d received the giftcard in May, then June, then July and then August. I kept getting passed off to different people making different promises and never delivering. I had to call and text another 8 times and had it escalated to 3 different managers to get the 2nd giftcard in SEPTEMBER ALMOST A YEAR LATER.Verizon lies to their customers, it’s truly disgusting and the worst experience. Mona, one of the managers finally told me the promotion for the giftcards was no longer valid. Laughable. I’ve never been so unhappy with a service. In addition, I switched to home internet, I get 1 bar in my home and that’s with a booster modem. I’m cancelling my service, stay away from Verizon, they’re horrible in every aspect.
